By now, most everyone has heard about the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools in many locations have shut down, events have been cancelled and travel has been greatly restricted.
What does this mean for Morrison Baptist Church? At this time we are planning to hold our services and activities as scheduled. None of our members have been diagnosed with COVID-19, or exposed to it. As always, if you are sick, please see a doctor, stay at home and let us know how we can help. Also, take proper precautions to prevent the spread of the virus, following the guidelines of health officials and experts. Use your best judgement at all times to stay safe. Most of all, pray that God will spare our church and community from the virus and will heal those who are infected. The church will take appropriate steps to insure that our members are safe and cared for. We will continue to monitor the situation, keep up with the latest information and notify our members immediately of any steps that must be taken.
In addition, MBC will participate in the Southern Baptist Day of Prayer for the Coronavirus Global Pandemic, this Sunday during our 11:00 a.m. service.
Remember, if God is for us, no one or nothing can stand against us. We hope to see you on Sunday.
Blessings,
Bro. Paul
